First Baptist Church of Merritt Island reached out to MNMV for assistance with their strip club ministry. We were able to assess their current program, train all staff and volunteers to become trauma responsive, assist in creating easier on-ramps when meeting with the ladies who work in the clubs, and create a welcoming drop-in center where the ladies can get food, hygiene supplies, and clothes while fellowshipping, doing laundry, or taking a shower.

First Baptist Church of Merritt Island grew their pre-existing strip club ministry into a program that helps women and children who are caught up in exploitation. As word spreads throughout their local strip clubs that the ladies of Agape are exactly who they say they are, more and more women come to utilize their drop-in center. FBC Merritt Island already had the heart for the women; MNMV was able to help them connect better.
