MNMV was first invited to One Purse to hold weekly group counseling with the women who had been exploited and are employed through their program. During that time, we met weekly with the women to work through hardships that come along with working a job and learning new skills.

The value that MNMV brings to a program was abundantly clear, and we were asked to step in for six months to lead the team while the CEO of One Purse took a much deserved sabbatical. Dr Thomas was able to guide the team in their day-to-day business while ensuring that survivors and trauma competency were at the forefront of every task while another MNMV expert continued to lead the weekly group counseling sessions for the women.

One Purse uses the power of the purse to provide scholarships and employment opportunities for women who have been abused and exploited.
