Why do we exist?
For Survivors.
We exist to live free out loud.
Our mission is to ensure that no one gets hurt while trying to receive help.
A big heart and good intentions are not enough to provide good services and care for survivors of trafficking. In order to be effective in the fight against trafficking, persons and providers must also be survivor led and educated to prevent further exploitation and traumatization of the survivors who are being served.
We exist to live free out loud.
Our vision is to be a part of a world of creative prevention and continuum of care strategies in order to fulfill our mission to ensure that no one else gets hurt while they are trying to get assistance in removing themselves from a world of being trafficked.
We recognize that the continuum of care is a journey and walk that path alongside other organizations who are in the fight against trafficking by providing consultation and education to further each organization’s reach to benefit survivors.
By Survivors.
We exist to live free out loud together.
We are a bright light because we have been in the darkness.
We are transparent because we have lived in a world of lies.
We are vocal because we have been silenced.
We are community-focused because we know that it takes a village.
We are willing to do the hard work because we know it is the only way.

For Survivors, By Survivors
For Awareness
Our #1218 Campaign helps to spread the message that while there is hate in the world, we are choosing to not hate back. The #1218 Campaign consists of rocks painted by survivors of trafficking with an inspiring word, message, or picture. The hashtag #1218 is inscribed on each rock which are then seal-coated and left randomly in the world for another person to find and enjoy. The hashtag #1218 stands for Romans 12:18 “If it is possible, as much as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone” and with it we hope to encourage the finder to search for and share the rock online and to learn about the people behind the rock.
For Care
We provide free seminars for community groups. Our commitment to building a strong community for survivors includes offering this to any community organization/group who wants to learn more about human trafficking. The seminar covers topics related to Human Trafficking 101 such as- What Trafficking Is/Isn’t, Vulnerabilities and Trafficking, Special Population Vulnerabilities, and Preventing ReExploitation.
When you are ready to take your activism further, we offer advanced training packages that meet your organization’s unique needs based on your role in the continuum of care. The advanced education packages go beyond Human Trafficking 101 to hone in on the questions you need answered most. The package begins with a free consultation to determine your organization’s current level of understanding and learn your goals for your organization. MNMV then creates a workshop series specifically for you that covers your needs while staying within your budget.
For Change
We often hear, “I want to help, but I don’t know how”. We have solved both of those problems for you. We are creating opportunities to support a different life for survivors of trafficking in more ways than one. We want to provide easy on-ramps for you to be an ally in the fight against trafficking.
For Survivors, By Survivors
We stand firmly on the belief that no organization should be in anti-trafficking work without a survivor leader on board. We are the experts in this world, and we have put in the healing work to stay in it. Whether you are looking for a true lived experience expert to hire for your organization, to sit on your board, or to step in as a PRN advocate when you encounter a victim, MNMV has built a network of vetted lived experience experts who have not only their own testimony, but also years of experience in the field and a proven history of a continuous healing journey. Learn more about the multiple ways you can hire a vetted lived experience expert for your organization.
My Name My Voice proudly promotes all of our survivor siblings in the work they do. Just like your organization, we have different lanes in the anti-trafficking space in which we are experts. For all of your anti-trafficking needs, please consider looking to the lived experience experts first.
